Passave, the US/Israel based maker of EPON and GPON chips was scheduled for an Initial Public Offering on NASDAQ this week. However, this IPO has now been delayed. Here’s the reason: "So far as is known, Passave’s road towards an IPO was smooth, until a US public company filed legal allegations against Passave two weeks ago. The precise nature of these allegations, which are now in arbitration, is not known. The sources added that the problem was minor, and that the US public company apparently preferred waiting until the last moment before Passave’s IPO, in order to force it to soften its position in the arbitration hearing." I’m sure we’ll find out more on the exact nature of the allegations briefly. Comments are welcome from anyone with info. Stay tuned.
