VDSL is Here for 25 More Years, Fiber is Still Too Expensive Acoording to iSuppli

Market research firm iSuppli declares that copper VDSL technology will be around for 25 more years as operators try to squeeze life from the copper plant.

The market intelligence firm believes the decline in demand for copper lines has been greatly overplayed and that operators are now finding it very expensive to roll out fibre-optic lines to customers’ homes.
